It is that time of year again where the days get shorter and the nights get longer! In the winter we tend to become more isolated and have a more difficult time keeping up our activity levels. Getting outside even if just for a few minutes a day becomes extremely important to prevent seasonal affect disorder and to maintain relationships that we might neglect in the colder months. Try and get outside during the day on the weekends or before the sun goes down during the week to not only get the benefits on exercise but to try and get some natural sun light as well! Getting exercise outside in the winter can be as easy as going skating, walking through the mountains, building a snowman, or taking a walk outside. Exercising in the cold helps burn more calories and helps your cardio improving your heart. Dress warm and embracing the cold is especially important in a Country where we only see sun a couple months out of the year!
After spending some time outside you can go back into the warmth of a house, make some RIVALUS hot chocolate and enjoy some quiet time with this recipe!
